When it comes to planning, ask yourself:
1) What if I planned for it, but it does not happen?
2) What if it doesn't happen, because I did not plan for it?
The risk of something not happening is still worth the 'risk' of planning for it. There's nothing to lose except your time, your energy and sometimes, money. If you choose to do nothing, your time, your energy and (money) will pass anyway. Which risk do you want to take? Do something or do nothing?
