The moment of truth came in The "Time Now" Is Now. I had just received an email from our company accountant that I was to submit our company accounts to them by the end of September 2021 for the preparation of books. Time flies! Another accounting year has passed! Does any WFH woman out there share my numbness? I feel that Covid has camouflaged the passing of time and the load of our work. I am busy every day at home, the bulk of my time taken up by the never-ending chore of feeding my forever-hungry family.
Perhaps I am better off not doing Victory, because I can still build that dog shelter in Dehra-dun with the wife allowance that Anthony gives me. After all, the insurance industry is not too badly hit by Covid. I hearsay that in fact, insurance firms are doing better because of the pandemic. Someone enlighten me because you know that I can't ask Anthony. He will interpret it to mean that I'm after more wife allowance, LOL! Anyway I know that I will find a way no matter how.
That thought disappeared as quickly as it came. No lah! I know that I alone can only do so much****. I shudder thinking of all those rabbits that once needed me. I have to make Victory succeed so that I have a BIG TEAM VICTORY to do rescue work together. To Make Feng Shui Work, I write my big dreams bigger than what I think I can do, so here is my Directors Agreement with Keng Hwee (p.s.: he sort of has no choice but to agree because I formed the company with these in mind, LOL!):
1. Dog shelter (to house 10 dogs) in King Gesar Temple of Ling in Dehra-Dun, India
2. Construction of school (10 tables) in any country
3. Construction of clinic run by pro-bono dentists and doctors (10 beds) in any country
4. Road (leading to King Gesar Temple of Ling) in Dehra-Dun, India
For big dreams to come true, I need to work hard, I need business luck, and I also need to know how to use money to make money. I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to find an expert to do the latter 2 tasks for you! Just the amount of work involved in "I (You) need to work hard" is more than enough for one person to undertake. Imagine this, plus family time plus alone time plus sleeping time. Too crazy busy! You can ask a Feng Shui Master to help you better your luck, and you can ask a financial planner to give you a practical course on financial planning. Financial planners also introduce you to financial tools available in the market that can help you to maximise your cash. If you find the correct expert, they will be the secrets to your success! My only regret is that I did not use their services to my advantage earlier in my life. Why? Because I can read up on Feng Shui and do my own Feng Shui. Because I can read up on investment books, and I can do my own investment!
But then we are completely missing the point. We must focus what it is that brings in the (your) dough. For example, if I am a baker, my energy is better used to create yummy recipes for fusion-cakes. If I am an accountant, I could upskill and learn Risk Management so that I can better do my accountant job with a risk mindset.
What I am trying to say is that we can't do it ALL by ourselves, and Professionals like Metaphysics Masters and Certified Financial Planners can help. It is their dough! Those days of pushy salesman are over. Nowadays there are many checks in place to make sure that you understand what it is that you are buying, and there is even a freelook period if you change your mind.
If an expert comes across as very pushy, you can honestly tell them to go away and they will. Obviously they are not the right expert for you. Trust me, no expert in his/her right frame of mind will risk losing their licence trying to force us (retail customers) to buy a product that we do not want. Retail customers typically do not have that kind of big budget that is worth Professionals forcing you to buy and risk getting complained against.
